Alabama has essentially postponed its House primaries in all but the 3rd, 4th and 5th Districts, after the state sought and received a court order allowing it to run its 2026 elections under a different congressional map, which would give Republicans one more seat in the House. Primaries for the other, changed districts will be run later this year.
