21 bestselling Amazon products of 2025, according to NBC Select readers

As 2025 comes to a close, we’re reminiscing on products we — and most importantly, our readers — have bought and loved the most this year. And much like previous years, Amazon comes out on top in terms of the retailer readers simply couldn't get enough of in 2025. They shopped thousands of deals during Prime Day and Prime Big Deal Days, added multiple ready-to-ship gifts to their carts during the holiday season, and made sure to restock on household, beauty and cleaning essentials.

Below, I rounded up our NBC Select readers’ most-purchased products that we’ve covered this year, all available on Amazon. Each of the following items is highly rated with at least a 4.0-star average rating.

Whitening strips can be a huge help for those with teeth stains caused by coffee, wine and soda. Crest 3D Whitestrips are a favorite among our editors, and they even won an NBC Select Wellness Award this year. This kit includes 22 treatments, and you can apply each one for up to 45 minutes every day for a whiter smile, according to the brand.

For many, the end of the year means cold, dry weather that strips your skin of moisture. This moisturizer, which took one of the top spots on our list of the 100 best moisturizers, helps protect your skin against the harsh weather with hydrating ingredients like niacinamide and ceramides. “I’ve used this moisturizer every day for years, and I don’t plan to stop any time soon,” says NBC Select updates editor Mili Godio. “I have very sensitive skin, so I love that it’s fragrance-free and gentle.

It’s our best overall pick for lip balms in 2025, too. “It’s truly the most perfect lip product someone can have,” says former NBC Select associate reporter Bianca Alvarez. “It’s 10 times more moisturizing, softening and healing than any other option out there, in my experience.”

Hyaluronic acid is a key skin care ingredient for hydrating the skin. This serum from The Ordinary is a budget-friendly option that doesn’t have added fragrance or drying ingredients like alcohol. It’s a favorite of NBC Select reporter Zoe Malin, who loves that the product is lightweight, absorbs quickly and leaves her skin feeling plump and hydrated.

Whether you have naturally fine hair or are experiencing thinning hair from menopause, consider this shampoo, which has a blend of biotin and collagen to make your hair appear thicker. It’s also free of sulfates, which can be harsh on your hair.

This stain remover spray comes in handy for parents with young children or those who tend to spill coffee on their white shirt while rushing to work. Malin swears by this product and has used it to get rid of coffee, wine and green juice stains. It’s non-toxic and free of dyes, fragrances and sulfates.

This spot gel comes recommended by dermatologists in our guide to treating teen acne. It has a high concentration of benzoyl peroxide, which kills acne-causing bacteria and reduces inflammation.

This is one of our favorite dish soaps and recommended by Malin, who loves that it quickly cleans dishes without requiring a lot of scrubbing. Even though this product is technically for dishes, we also recommend it to clean the inside of your refrigerators, dishwasher, air fryer and even window air conditioners.

This drugstore moisturizer earned the No.1 spot on our list of the 100 best moisturizers. The reason: It’s budget-friendly, fragrance-free and won’t clog your pores or leave a greasy feeling on your skin.

After learning that many dish sponges can shed microplastics, Fernandez looked into plastic-free, non-toxic alternatives. The Skoy Scrub is a hybrid between a sponge and a dishcloth with an abrasive side to scrape off food without scratching the dishes themselves. You can use it to clean dishes and surfaces around the home. Plus, it’s reusable and dishwasher-safe.
