DoorDash’s Summer of DashPass is here — and the deals are hot

It might feel like prices (and temps) are soaring this summer, but so are the savings. DoorDash’s biggest sale of the year is officially here, and it’s taking the heat off with major discounts for DashPass members.

Members get five weeks of exclusive deals during the sixth-annual Summer of DashPass event, with thousands of items up to 25–50% off. The sale runs now through July 30 (which means its almost over), and covers summer essentials like meals, groceries, electronics, and retail.

Whether you’re juggling vacation plans or just trying not to cook in this heat, DashPass has your back. Expect discounts from national favorites like Starbucks, Chipotle, Lowe’s and Best Buy, plus offers from over 120,000 local businesses.

Even better? This year’s event includes new perks like DashPass Family Sharing, exclusive app-only Deal Drops and double Lyft ride discounts — plus giveaways on Instagram and TikTok, including a chance to win a $4,000 DoorDash gift card.

DoorDash’s new family sharing option lets eligible DashPass members add another person to their membership for free. This means you and your loved one can get double the perks (and savings) without having to pay for a separate membership. And even though you share benefits, you still get to keep some things to yourself. When you sign up for DashPass Family Sharing, you’ll still have your own separate DoorDash accounts. So you’re only sharing the benefits—while keeping things like payment methods, order history, and delivery preferences separate.

DoorDash is also offering member-exclusive sales and perks throughout the summer. These include:

Deal Drops: During the Summer of DashPass sales, DoorDash is also dropping surprise app-exclusive offers as an extra treat. Each week, look out for new limited-time deals in-app for even bigger savings, up to 50% off across categories.

2x Lyft Benefits: In honor of summer travel, DashPass members get double the Lyft benefits: 10% off rides and 20% off scheduled airport rides.

DashPass is a paid DoorDash subscription offering members exclusive benefits and services unavailable with a standard DoorDash account. These include:

• $0 delivery fees on all eligible orders
• Reduced service fees on eligible on-demand grocery, restaurant, convenience, and alcohol orders
• Exclusive discounts and special menu offers throughout the year
• Yearly Summer of DashPass savings event
• 5% back in DoorDash credits on eligible pickup orders
• More options — in addition to restaurants, DashPass members can shop from a range of retailers, including grocery and convenience stores
• Members can also redeem DashPass’s exclusive benefits on Caviar (if you use the same login information for both DashPass and Caviar, the benefits will automatically apply)
• Priority customer support
• New users can sign up for a 30-day free trial
• Exclusive Lyft benefits: 10% off scheduled airport Lyft rides, 5% off on-demand Lyft rides, and two free Priority Pickup upgrades
• Perks for Chase cardmembers: Cardholders are also eligible for a free DoorDash trial and additional membership perks
• Access to HBO Max: Annual DashPass plan members get free access to the Max Basic with Ads plan, or they can upgrade to the Max Standard plan for $10.99/month (plus applicable taxes)
• There are two ways to pay: $9.99/month or $96/year (which shakes out to $8/month
• T-Mobile to give customers free access to DashPass (a $120 value) via the T-Life app from July 8 to August 4.
