Chef notes
Dare I say, this is one of my favorite recipes I've ever made? OK, I will say it! I love these little bars. You reduce the apple cider to create "boiled cider" that gets mixed into the blondie batter. The baked result is a perfectly chewy cinnamon sugar-covered blondie with tons of apple flavor that is super easy to make.
Technique tips: For a fudgier blondie, bake on the shorter end of the time range. Bars can be stored in an airtight container for up to 1 week. Bars can also be frozen, wrapped in plastic wrap for up to 3 months, let defrost at room temperature and enjoy.
Swap option: You can also buy boiled cider, ready to go.
Just a moment.
