The fragile ceasefire between Israel and Lebanon has been extended another few weeks as both sides accuse the other of violating the agreement and amid new reports from Lebanese authorities that Israeli troops killed more than a dozen civilians. At the height of the conflict, hospitals saw a surge in burn victims. In the country’s only functioning burn treatment center, a dedicated team of surgeons and doctors treat victims with catastrophic injuries, many of whom are children.
