Dr. Nancy Snyderman talks to a group of men who believe their surprising breast cancer diagnoses are linked to drinking contaminated water at Camp Lejeune. The CDC estimates that between 500,000 and 1 million people were exposed to contaminated water at Camp Lejeune between 1953 and 1987. The Marine Corps says that “reliable scientific evidence is lacking” to prove one way or another whether the water contamination caused any illness. Snyderman’s full report airs Friday, Feb. 22 on NBC News’ Rock Center with Brian Williams.
