Audio recordings of the final conversations between pilots of missing Malaysia Airlines flight MH370 and teams of air traffic controllers were published for the first time Thursday by investigators.

The tapes were released as part of a preliminary report by Malaysian authorities that urged global aviation regulators to consider real-time tracking of commercial jets.

Not a single trace of debris from MH370 has been found in the search for the missing jet, which disappeared two months ago.

In its preliminary report (PDF), Malaysia's Air Accident Investigation Bureau said that a lack of real-time tracking devices resulted in "significant difficulty" in the hunt for the Boeing 777.

Below is the full transcript of that conversation, which was released by authorities earlier this month.
