Snoop Dogg tested out his super "lung power" as he hit the pool for a special lesson with swimming legend and Olympian Michael Phelps.

The hip-hop icon put on a swimming cap and goggles for a one-on-one master class from Phelps, a 23-time gold Olympic medal winner, in a special video in celebration of the 2024 Paris Olympics.

"When it comes to one of my lifetime goals, there’s only one man I can think of — Mr. 23-time, OG, the GOAT," Snoop said.

"You see me and MP, we go back like the backstroke. Now MP, how does one get fast in the pool?" he asked.

Phelps said two things are key: wingspan and lung power.

“You just described me! You said wingspan, lung power — I definitely have great lung power,” Snoop, known for his songs about smoking marijuana, said with a laugh.

"And I do have a swimmer’s body. Look, our bodies are similar, man," he said standing side by side with Phelps. "We could be twins!"

The two legends got into the water with Phelps showing Snoop the proper freestyle arm movements.

Snoop then showed off his freestyle — the swimming stroke, that is.

When it was Phelps' turn, Snoop watched with admiration, yelling, "OK flipper!"

The two then tried to freestyle in sync.

“Mike, you make this look too easy. You see I’m in gold medal condition," Snoop said, visibly panting. "And he’s still in gold medal condition as we speak!"

“Shout out to the Phelps family and to the team that’s going to give me some oxygen right now,” he joked at the end of the clip.

The men’s 200-meter breaststroke, 100-meter freestyle, 200-meter butterfly and 800-meter freestyle will all take place Tuesday at the Olympics.

Snoop has been active at the Olympics. He carried the Olympic flame through the streets of Saint-Denis, a suburb north of Paris, this month, and he is also a special NBC Olympics correspondent for the Games.
