Amazon Prime Day is still happening through Jun. 26, offering hundreds of discounts exclusive to Prime members. But beyond stocking up on summer essentials and everyday staples, Amazon is also packed with quirky finds that deserve a second look (tinned anchovies and a penguin egg cooker, anyone?).
While these products may seem a little odd at first glance, they can make surprisingly useful household upgrades, fun desk accessories or easy gag gifts, and some of them are selling fast. Every item below is highly rated and at least 20% off. I’ll be updating this list regularly throughout Amazon Prime Day as I spot more standout deals.

The weirdest things we found on sale during Prime Day 2026
This pocket-sized, octopus-shaped blackhead remover is made with charcoal and marine plant extracts, which are designed to absorb excess oil from your pores. The solid balm turns into gel upon contact with your skin, and reviewers on Amazon love the stick-like applicator that makes the product easy to move around your face.
This egg cooker makes boiling eggs simple and fun: Insert up to six eggs into the penguin-shaped holes and put in a pot of hot water to make hard or soft boiled eggs. Its long handle stays cold, allowing you to easily insert and remove the cooker from water, according to the brand.
This small retro-inspired shaved ice machine easily crushes ice to make snow cones at home, and it’s a hit at cookouts, birthday parties and during the warm summer months, according to Amazon reviewers. Two reusable cones and an ice scoop are included with the purchase, but you’ll have to buy syrups separately if you want flavors.
Use this toilet spray before or after you go to the bathroom to avoid leaving behind any smell. A travel pack of three comes with different fresh scents, including the viral original citrus, and the small bottles discreetly fit into pockets and purses.
Tinned fish is still trending, and Fishwife products are a great snack or meal with up to 19 grams of protein per package, according to the brand. Their anchovy pack is sourced from Europe’s first and only sustainable anchovy fishery, and is currently at its lowest price all year.
For those who love the Exploding Kittens franchise, try their new game that involves stealing, swapping and scoring cards with colorful, whimsical designs. Many reviewers on Amazon say they can play for hours with family and friends of all ages.
Many NBC Select editors are huge fans of Poppi prebiotic sodas, and this Love Island twist on last summer’s fan-favorite Punch Pop flavor is one of my personal favorites. The heart decal can is hard to find in stores, so I’ll be stocking up on the fruity, summery flavor while a 12-pack is on sale.
This artistic bowl is shaped like an unzipped plastic bag, working great as a candy dish or snack bowl for your desk or kitchen countertop. Each bowl is dishwasher-safe and can hold up to 25 ounces.
