If you are gearing up for Hanukkah, there is a lot to look forward to — including eating latkes and sufganiyot and spending time with friends and family. This year, the holiday kicks off on December 14. This means that you still have a little time left if you need to shop for some themed decor or gifts. To help, I rounded up Hanukkah-inspired accessories for everyone on your list — including young children and teens. I’ve also included some Judaica to display at home to mark the holiday.

Best Hanukkah-inspired accessories for adults
“Jake Cohen’s cookbooks have taught me how to make many classic Jewish dishes with a modern twist,” says NBC Select reporter Zoe Malin, who says this particular cookbook is her favorite. It has easy-to-follow recipes for Jewish staples like challah, latke tartines, matzo balls and schmears.
Who doesn’t love the gift of food? New York’s famous Carnegie Deli collaborated with The Matzo Project to create this matzo ball soup kit. You get all the things you need to make a hearty batch of soup — plus four bags of crunchy Sea Salted Match Chips from The Matzo Project.
This box of treats comes with a different sweet for each of the eight nights of Hanukkah. You’ll find dried fruits, rugelach, brownies, Jordan almonds, rich chocolates and more. Everything is packaged in a decorative box shaped like the Star of David and is numbered one through eight.
Homesick created this candle to smell reminiscent of potato latkes dipped in applesauce and jelly donuts. It gives off a baked apple, butter and potato fragrance with notes of pomegranate, pound cake, vanilla, sugar and musk. The candle is made from a natural soy wax blend and has a cotton wick that can burn up to 80 hours, according to the brand.
Though not specifically Hanukkah themed, this pretty bouquet is a nice nod to the holiday with its white and blue colored flowers. It’s a great gift to send to anyone you can’t be with over the holiday. The bouquet includes roses, ranunculus, delphinium and anemone. You can also choose between two sizes — a standard bouquet or a double, which has twice the number of stems.
Best Hanukkah-inspired gifts for teens and kids
If you’ve got a kid in your life who likes to bake, consider bringing these Hanukkah cookie cutters for any celebration. The set of five includes a menorah, dreidel, star, candle and Maccabee shield. The cookie cutters are made of stainless steel and are dishwasher-safe. You could even sweeten the gift with a blue and white package of sprinkles.
This Hanukkah throw is made from yarn-died fibers and has a golden menorah and blossoms on one side and a solid color on the other. It has cable knit detailing and measures 40-inches wide by 50-inches long. For an additional $16 you can also have it embroidered with your gift recipient’s name.
This set of studs from Alex and Ani comes with three pairs of earrings — dreidels, stars and menorahs. The earrings have faux gem detailing for added sparkle. The earrings are also nickel-free, so they shouldn’t irritate those with sensitive skin, according to the brand.
My daughter has received a number of Super Smalls items over the years and loves them. This kit helps kids and teens make Hanukkah-themed jewelry to wear during the holiday. It comes with an elastic cord and an assortment of blue, gold, silver and clear beads, as well as three charms: a Chai, the Star of David and a Hamsa. One kit typically makes one necklace or two bracelets.
I dare you to find a pair of pajamas for kids that are softer than Little Sleepies. They’re made from bamboo and are super stretchy. They run a bit long, which I find to be a plus — it means they fit my average-sized kids longer. Though Little Sleepies makes tons of prints, this Hanukkah themed set is particularly nice for the holiday season.
Best Judaica gifts
This circular stoneware menorah sits almost flat, which makes it easy to store once Hanukkah is over, says NBC Select senior editor Lindsay Schneider, who received this from the small brand years ago and has used it yearly since. There are ripples sculpted into the main circle where you insert candles, helping them stand up straight and not fall over. The Shamash (the ninth candle) gets its own separate holder, which you can place inside or outside of the menorah.
A menorah with a sense of humor — what’s not to like about that? This handmade pickle is made from solid aluminum that is handpainted and it has a no-slip bottom. It comes in a coordinating gift box, so you don’t even have to wrap it.
Kids can build and wire their own light-up menorah with this kit from KiwiCo, a brand Becca Delman, NBC senior commerce photo editor and mom, recommends for its interactive activities. It comes with nine acrylic candles (plus four extras) kids decorate using the included stencils and sandpaper. When placed in the base, the decorated candles light up in different colors.
