Apple just launched the iPad Air (M3), a new version of the iPad Air that has the more modern M3 chip built-in. Apple also announced the launch of an all new Magic Keyboard to accompany the latest iPad Air. Pre-orders are available now and the tablet ships March 12th.

Apple iPad Air (M3)

The new iPad Air (M3) is largely similar to the previous M2 version. The bigest change is internal: the new model has Apple’s M3 chip, which should deliver slightly faster overall performance. The 11-inch iPad Air (M3) starts at $599 while the 13-inch iPad Air (M3) starts at $799. Both are available in four colors.

The brand also launched a new Apple Magic Keyboard to go with the iPad Air (M3) — the new models have larger trackpads and include a function row for keys like screen brightness, volume and media control. The 11-inch Magic Keyboard starts at $269 while the 13-inch Magic Keyboard starts at $319.

As always with a new product launch, the previous iPad Air (M2) looks to be discounted at multiple retailers — you can get both the 11-inch and 13-inch versions for $100 off at Best Buy.

Apple iPad (A16)

Apple also quietly upgraded the base iPad, which it now calls the iPad (A16) rather than the iPad (10th Generation). The base model iPad (A16) starts at $349 and comes with a slightly larger screen, an updated chip and 128GB of storage (up from 64GB).
