Crowley, the Milwaukee County executive, and Tiffany, a member of Congress representing a northern Wisconsin district, are in a close race to succeed retiring Democratic Gov. Tony Evers — the first open governor’s race in the state since 2010.
Vance to rally in Nebraska, where Democrats are eyeing a pickup opportunity
The vice president will hold a rally today in Nebraska, where Democrats are eyeing a potential opportunity to swipe a Senate seat from Republicans.
Republican incumbent Pete Ricketts is running against independent Dan Osborn in the race, which Democrat Cindy Burbank dropped out of this summer.
Nebraska voted for Trump in 2024 by a more than 20-percentage-point margin. Still, Democrats are hoping that an independent could resonate enough with Nebraska voters to cut a Republican seat.
Earlier this month, Trump held a rally in the state, which has already begun early voting and is mailing out absentee ballots.
The vice president traveled to Ohio yesterday for a midterm rally. Both Trump and Vance have blitzed across the country in the final stretch before Election Day.
Rep. Ilhan Omar details federal search of her D.C. home, says she’ll have to move for safety reasons
Rep. Ilhan Omar, D-Minn., yesterday described in detail for the first time the early-morning search of her home last week by federal agents, revealing in the process that she can no longer live there because of safety concerns.
In an interview with MS NOW, Omar said she and her husband were initially startled and confused by the arrival of agents with Homeland Security Investigations, who began banging on their doors and yelling at 6 a.m. Oct. 12.
Roger Marshall and Adam Hamilton face off in fiery final Kansas Senate debate
Republican Sen. Roger Marshall and Democrat Adam Hamilton went head to head in a contentious debate last night as polls show a toss-up in ruby-red Kansas with less than two weeks until Election Day.

Marshall and Hamilton traded criticism and attacks over the Iran war, immigration enforcement, healthcare and tariff policy, as well as other controversies that have popped up during their unexpected battleground campaign.
Abdul El-Sayed and Mike Rogers’ second debate clash sets up final sprint in Michigan
The second Michigan Senate debate last night featured several heated clashes between Democratic nominee Abdul El-Sayed and Republican former Rep. Mike Rogers, though it was far tamer than an explosive first meeting this month.
The debate took place in Detroit less than two weeks before Election Day in the bitterly contested battle for an open Senate seat. Polls show a neck-and-neck contest to replace retiring Sen. Gary Peters, a Democrat.
Trump to campaign for Ashley Hinson in Iowa
Trump will hold a midterm rally in Sioux City, Iowa, today with Rep. Ashely Hinson as he tries to boost Republican candidates in the final weeks before Election Day.
In the Senate race, Hinson is facing Democratic state Rep. Josh Turek in what NBC News has classified as a toss-up.
Like other GOP candidates grappling with the president's low approval ratings, Hinson sought to emphasize her independence from Trump in an interview yesterday with NBC News, saying she has "always worked with both sides to get things done for Iowa."
Hinson did not appear at a September rally featuring Vice President JD Vance.
In the governor's race, Democrat Rob Sand faces Republican Zach Lahn in the close contest to succeed Republican incumbent Kim Reynolds, who is not seeking re-election.
The state also has two battleground races in the 1st and 3rd Congressional Districts. In the 1st district, Democrat Christina Bohannan faces Republican Rep. Mariannette Miller-Meeks, and in the 3rd district, Democrat Sarah Trone Garriott faces Republican Rep. Zach Nunn.
