New York is seeing signs of progress in its fight against the coronavirus, but Governor Andrew Cuomo warns it’s too early to think about reopening the state. Cuomo pushed back against New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio’s call to close public schools for the rest of the school year, saying they need to coordinate with the metropolitan region first. NBC News’ Kathy Park reports from a new field hospital opened by New York-Presbyterian/Columbia University Irving Medical Center, named in honor of decorated U.S. Navy Seal Ryan F. Larkin and staffed by former military medical personnel.
