After seeing an NBC News report on liver injuries, Katie Mohan says she had a “light bulb” moment regarding her own health and prioritized going to the doctor, where she eventually confirmed her highly concentrated turmeric supplement had badly damaged her liver. She had only been taking it for two and a half months before she ended up in the hospital.
