Three people have been charged with attempted murder over the shooting outside a Portland high school which sent three others to the hospital, police said Tuesday. Authorities have said that the Dec. 12 shooting at Rosemary Anderson High School was believed to be gang-related.
The Portland Police Department on Monday said that 16-year-old Marquise Murphy, his 22-year-old brother Lonzo Murphy, and 18-year-old Marquel Dugas have been charged with attempted murder. The three also are facing assault and weapons charges and will appear in court on Tuesday, the force added in a statement. The three people injured in the shooting all have been released from the hospital.
