How do you search the Internet for things? If you answered "by typing into my phone," then you might be an old person. The majority of teens (55 percent) now conduct more than one voice search a day, according to a new study from market research firm Northstar. Only 41 percent of adults, meanwhile, conduct more than one voice search a day, possibly for orthopedic shoes or "Who is this Skrillex fellow?" Despite the fact that the study was presented by Google, it was not Google-specific, meaning it could include people who searched with Apple's Siri or Microsoft's Cortana. When asked, "Pick one thing you wish you could ask your phone to do for you," the leading response from teens was "send me a pizza." Adults wanted search engines to "tell me where my keys are." Both teens and adults (22 percent and 15 percent, respectively) are guilty of using voice search in the bathroom, which, like, TMI, guys.
