Three people were killed and two more seriously injured in a shooting in south Kansas City, Missouri, early Tuesday afternoon, police said. Authorities were responding to a disturbance call in a residential area known as Woodbridge, near a country club, just before 1 p.m., when they discovered five victims with gunshot wounds, according to a police release. Three of those victims died at the scene, and two others were transported to local hospitals with life-threatening injuries.

The shooter was still at large late Tuesday afternoon,, police Sgt. Kari Thompsons said. Police said in a statement they found a tan-colored SUV they believe was stolen from the homicide scene, but they are still hunting for a suspect. The unidentified victims of the shooting were discovered in multiple locations on a cul-de-sac in the area of Woodbridge Lane and Wornall Road, police said.
