Oscar-winner Jennifer Lawrence and other female actresses lashed out against an online bulletin board that posted what it claimed was compromising pictures of them and dozens of other celebrities, which were obtained from a massive hacking campaign targeting Apple's iCloud storage service.
"This is a flagrant violation of privacy," Lawrence's spokesperson said in a statement Sunday. "The authorities have been contacted and will prosecute anyone who posts the stolen photos of Jennifer Lawrence."
Other alleged victims, Victoria Justice and Mary Elizabeth Winstead, turned to Twitter. Justice said the purported photos of her were fake, and Winstead seemed to verify that photos of her and her husband had been released, saying the'd been deleted a long time ago. "Feeling for everyone who got hacked," she wrote. The online bulletin board, 4Chan, claims to also have images of model Kate Upton, actress Kirsten Dunst and soccer player Hope Solo.
