TEL AVIV -- Militants in the Gaza Strip fired more than a dozen rockets into Israel overnight - including at least one which scored a direct hit on a house hosting a summer camp for kids. Israel's military said it carried out "precision" airstrikes against 15 Hamas targets in response to the bombardment - taking out concealed rocket launchers, weapon storage facilities and "terror activity" sites.

There were no injuries in Sderot, southern Israel, when a rocket struck the summer camp, according to local media. Another rocket caused damage to a building in western Negev, while others fell in open areas. Israel has stepped up airstrikes in Gaza following the kidnapping and murder of three Israeli teens, which it has blamed on Hamas. Hamas has praised the kidnappings but not claimed responsibility.
