Is this Amber alert alternative to find missing Black youth working?

Ebony alert, a resource introduced this year to help California law enforcement investigate the disproportionate disappearances of Black youth, is now gaining support in other states. But youth advocates say it isn’t working as it should, arguing that it was “introduced prematurely” before law enforcement was fully trained on what it is and before a robust plan to ensure young people’s safety put in place, which they say, has resulted in even more work on their part.
