Why does Oklahoma have so many lesbian bars?

In one of America’s reddest states lies a safe haven for the LGBTQ+ community. Despite passing several anti-LGBTQ+ laws, Oklahoma has become a hot spot for one of the community’s rarest spaces: lesbian bars. Out of a little more than 30 lesbian bars in the United States, Oklahoma is home to four. In this week’s Stay Tuned, we go inside some of these bars and talk to the people who have made Oklahoma City home.
