General Motors Corp.'s Cadillac unit will announce on Friday a television and Internet marketing campaign focused on the zero-to-60 mph acceleration of its V-Series cars, the Wall Street Journal reported.

The campaign will include a series of five-second TV commercials for its three CTS-V and STS-V sedans and the XLR-V roadster, all of which can zoom to 60 miles per hour in just under five seconds, Cadillac Marketing Director Jay Spenchian told the newspaper.

The article said ads will begin airing during this weekend's National Football League playoff games on FOX and CBS, and will continue on other nationwide programing in the days running up to the Super Bowl on Feb. 6.

The ads will also appear on Web sites across the Internet and at a Web site the car maker is setting up, cadillacunderfive.com, Spenchian told the newspaper.
