-- A prominent figure in the Iraq prisoner abuse scandal will be in court next month.
Army Private Lynndie England will face the military equivalent of a grand jury in a hearing scheduled to begin June 21st at Fort Bragg, North Carolina, where she is stationed.
England appeared in prison photographs pointing at prisoners' genitals and holding one detainee at the end of a leash.
England is one of seven soldiers facing charges of prisoner abuse in Iraq's Abu Ghraib prison.
England maintains that she was following orders.
A military spokesman says the hearing may or may not be open to the public.
