A Bunnell man stopped traffic and a train because he was doing some horseback riding under the influence, police say.

Officials said Charles Cowart, 29, urinated on a lawn before riding off on a horse.

He then went riding in the middle of U.S. 1 and up the train tracks, and officers had to stop the southbound train, according to authorities.

Investigators said Cowart eventually fell off the horse and ran into to the woods. He was later found by police dogs.

Cowart is charged with disorderly conduct, resisting arrest without violence, fleeing and eluding, and cruelty to animals.
