Sheriff's deputies on Wednesday arrested a Clermont County man accused of firing a rifle in his mother's home.
Investigators said 22-year-old Shon Robinson of Jackson Township became enraged when he was not allowed to borrow a car Wednesday about 4:45 p.m.
Robinson removed a .22-caliber rifle from a closet and fired several shots through windows, walls and the ceiling, deputies said.
The man's mother, Betty Cox, and another son, Mason Crum, tried to take the gun from Robinson, and deputies said Cox took a glass jug and struck him in the head.
Robinson dropped the rifle and fled on foot, deputies said.
Deputies arrived at the home in the 5100 block of Monterey Maple Grove Road, and officers called Robinson on his cell phone before finding him nearby.
Robinson suffered some cuts to his head, deputies said, but no one else was injured in the incident.
Authorities charged Robinson with improperly discharging a firearm inside a habitation and possession of a weapon under a disability, both felonies.
