A Streetsboro, Ohio, woman was shot in the foot when a shotgun was fired through her apartment floor.
The shooting happened Thursday around 12:45 p.m. at an apartment building on Shady Lake Drive in Streetsboro.
According to Streetsboro police, 21-year-old Adam Harris accidentally fired a 12-gauge shotgun into the ceiling of his apartment.
The 58-year-old victim was lying in bed when the her foot was struck, police said. She was taken to Robinson Memorial Hospital.
Harris was charged with negligent assault and taken to the Portage County Jail.
