ATLANTA, Jan. 25, 2011 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- DocPath, a leading manufacturer of document software, has announced its first Worldwide Partner Awards. The award program recognizes the importance of the work carried out by DocPath’s partners and acknowledges the efforts of partners on behalf of their customers. Excellence, quality of service and overall commitment to delivering DocPath solutions will factor in to the awards.

"Our channel program has been up and running for two years and we have built a very effective network of partners who are delivering DocPath solutions to a variety of businesses worldwide," said Javier Medina, DocPath’s VP of sales. "Now that our network is consolidated, we want to thank our partners for the confidence shown during this time, as they represent the front lines of providing effective document management solutions to customers in Europe and America."

Judging criteria will include the quality of the service provided to customers, ongoing efforts of venturing into new niche markets and attracting new target audiences andthe trajectory, merits and the corresponding revenue percentage of each partner.

The award will be given at the end of each fiscal year and will be awarded to the company considered 'Best Partner of the Year'.

Re-organization of the channel structure
Currently, 70% of DocPath’s revenue is generated through the channel program. The company’s objective is to go to a 100% channel model. To achieve this, there have been some changes in the internal structure of the existing channel program.

Certified partners have the ability to market DocPath's solutions and offer support to customers, whereas authorized partners act solely as distributors of DocPath products. Starting in 2011, certified partners will also enjoy the ability to develop their own network of authorized resellers.

"We want to increase the diversification of our network in order to reach a larger number of regions. If this also helps our partners to increase the amount of business derived from our agreement, it will provide additional incentive for them to grow and prosper in the program," said Medina.
