No one in Illinois won the $333 million Mega Millions jackpot on Friday, but one ticket sold in the Land of Lincoln is worth $250,000.
The second-place ticket matched five numbers -- 01, 17, 31, 37 and 54 -- but missed the Mega Ball, 31. The winner, or group of winners, hasn't yet come forward.
The jackpot-winning tickets were sold in New York and California.
Mega Millions tickets are sold in Georgia, Illinois, California, Texas, Washington, Virginia, Ohio, New York, New Jersey, Michigan, Maryland and Massachusetts.
The new Mega Millions jackpot is estimated at $12 million for Tuesday's drawing.
