BILLINGS - A Colorado man accused in a police standoff Sunday night made his first court appearance Monday morning. Twenty-two-year-old Willie Redd faces a misdemeanor count of obstructing a peace officer. Redd also has an outstanding warrant for escape in Colorado. It's unclear as to whether Redd will be extradited to Colorado. Sunday night, police say Redd forced his way into a south side apartment and told officers he had a gun and was going to shoot himself after he took them on a brief chase. The hour-and-a-half long standoff ended peacefully after officers talked Redd into surrendering.
