Firefighters were battling an out-of-control brush fire on Molokai Saturday night.
The fire started at about noon above the town of Kaunakakai.
Maui firefighters were assisting. The blaze had scorched 60 acres Saturday.
Three fire helicopters were trying to douse the flames by air while crews worked to contain the brush fire on the ground.
Maui officials said that no residents were being asked to evacuate and no injuries had been reported.
The cause of the fire is unknown.
