A large road project in Green Hills will be finished way ahead of schedule, according to the Tennessee Department of Transportation.
TDOT put in a center lane on Hillsboro Road from Sharondale Drive to Crestmoor Road. Then crews repaved Hillsboro Road from I-440 to Harding.
The work was supposed to be finished by October, but now TDOT said crews will probably finish around the middle of September.
