Fifteen people aboard an Air Canada flight suffered minor injuries when it encountered turbulence about one hour northeast of Honolulu.
The airline says flight AC34 from Sydney to Vancouver, British Columbia, diverted to Honolulu and landed early Friday morning.
Air Canada says two passengers and two flight attendants were taken to hospitals and later released. Nine other passengers and two other flight attendants were treated at the scene and resumed their flight when the plane departed about two hours later after being inspected.
Air Canada says the passenger list indicates the Boeing 777-200LR was carrying 256 passengers and 17 crew members at the time it ran into trouble.
