Investigators found the body of Shylea Thomas early Wednesday at a storage facility in Vienna Township, about 65 miles northwest of Detroit, Flint police said in a statement.

Officers went to a Flint home after receiving a call from state Department of Human Services workers that the girl was missing, Detective Sgt. Mitch Brown said.
