A man who killed two people in a 2006 shooting rampage in Vermont has been sentenced to three consecutive life terms.
Twenty-nine-year-old Christopher Williams of Essex was sentenced Wednesday on two counts of first-degree murder and two counts of attempted murder. He was convicted in July.
Prosecutors say he went on the rampage after he and his girlfriend broke up. He killed her mother in her home and one of his ex's colleagues at an elementary school. He also shot and injured two people.
