Phillies Closer Brett Myers remains day to day after injuring his shoulder on Wednesday night against the Florida Marlins. Phillies Head Athletic Trainer Scott Sheridan re-examined Myers Thursday morning. Sheridan re-confirmed that Myers has a right shoulder strain according to the team.
Myers will have an MRI on his right arm at some point on Thursday at the Phillies' medical network in Clearwater, Fla.
Myers grabbed his right pitching arm after throwing a 1-0 wild pitch to the Marlins' Miguel Olivo. He left the game after having blown his second save of the season.
The Phillies won 8-7 in 10 innings.
