MSNBC.com has been known as an industry leader in online video and creative advertising innovations since it pioneered the space in the late 1990s. Today, MSNBC.com announces expansion in both its video sales team and its nationwide sales force that helps secure its leadership position.
MSNBC.com welcomes Mark Marvel, video sales evangelist, and Randy Smith, video and cross-media product manager. Marvel is based in New York City and is focused on video sales solutions and product evangelism. He was most recently the Strategic Sales Manager for MSN Entertainment and prior to that held many posts in the media industry including stints writing for Vanity Fair magazine. Smith is based at MSNBC.com headquarters in Redmond, WA, and leads sales product strategy and development for video and cross-platform opportunities. He was most recently with MSN Video as Sales Operations Manager helping MSN Video become one of the top advertising supported video sites.
Mary Stenmark joins MSNBC.com as regional sales manager for the south region based in Atlanta. Stenmark was most recently National Sales Manager based in Atlanta for City Business Journal Network and previously was VP of Sales and Marketing for a technology solutions company. MSNBC.com also recently hired three regional account executives in Los Angeles, Chicago, and New York: Kim Nguyen, Chris Galle, and Jennifer Solomon-Baum, respectively.
