Five more people have corroborated staff writer Natasha Stoynoff's published allegations that Donald Trump attacked her in 2005, People magazine reported Tuesday.

Stoynoff wrote last week that Trump shut the door behind her, pushed her against a wall and "forc[ed] his tongue down my throat" while she was on a reporting trip to Mar-a-Lago, Trump's Florida estate, in December 2005, when he was married to his current wife, Melania. Melania Trump was pregnant at the time.

Paul McLaughlin, a Canadian writing instructor who taught Stoynoff in college, has previously said he could verify Stoynoff's account, which both Trumps have strongly denied.

But People on Tuesday added five more acquaintances to that list: three longtime friends and two People staffers, all of whom agreed to be named. Several of the acquaintances said Stoynoff didn't come forward at the time because she feared retribution from Trump.
