Organizers say more than five million Americans poured into the streets under the banner of “No Kings,” accusing President Donald Trump of attempting to amass too much power and targeting innocent people in his sweeping mass deportation program. The protests were also, in part, a response to the administration’s decision to host a grand military parade in Washington in honor of the Army’s 250th birthday which happened to coincide with Trump’s birthday.
