Google Translate is a big help when figuring out foreign language phrases (even if it mangles things from time to time). What was really missing from the tool, until now, was a way to build a reference library of handy-dandy words or sentences.
But a new feature called Phrasebook for Google Translate will let you "save the most useful phrases to you, for easy reference later on, exactly when you need them," a blog post by the Google Translate team explains.
To save something to Phrasebook, all you have to do is click the little star icon under translated text. To view your saved items, you just hit the "Show Phrasebook" icon in the upper-right corner of the Google Translate site. No word from thesearch engine giant asto how you can accessPhrasebook on the mobile version of Google, but we'll update if we findout.
Easy-peasy, right? Now if only Google could figure out a way to make me, not Phrasebook, remember translations, life would be perfect.
