The elusive great white iPhone 4 has been sighted once again, this time on an inventory screen for Best Buy. According to MacRumors, the long delayed phone will debut on the big box's shelves, in 16GB and 32GB flavors, on Feb. 27.
The Best Buy computer screen shot doesn't show whether they're AT&T or Verizon phones (Best Buy sells both), but since the inventory numbers are identical to the ones that first appeared when the device was first revealed last summer, before its seemingly interminable delay set in, and long before the Verizon iPhone was announced, it's definitely the AT&T version. It would be interesting to know if there will be a white Verizon version.
Engadget reported that white iPhones were also spotted on the inventory system of Vodafone in Germany.
The bigger question is, is there anyone still waiting for this baby? I mean, I probably would have gone for it back in June, but did anyone hold out for white past the holiday season? It almost seems better never than late, at this point, except perhaps on the Verizon side. At this point, I'll take a white iPhone 5, thanks.
