Have you ever swiped right and noticed a celebrity looking back at you on Tinder? It turns out they are not always fake — well, the profiles, at least.

Like on Twitter, celebs will soon be able to verify their identities on Tinder, CEO Sean Rad told The Hollywood Reporter.

The wildly popular dating app lets users reject or accept potential dates based on their Facebook photos. Last year, it generated at least 75 million matches, according to its parent company IAC, which also owns OKCupid and Match.com.

No longer will Tinder users sit by the pool of the Chateau Marmont staring at their phones with suspicion, wondering if Lindsay Lohan is really interested in them. Now they will be able to catch themselves a Kutcher, virtually grope a Groban, or, um, express moderate interest in Jamie Kennedy with a swipe of their thumb. (Lohan, Ashton Kutcher, Josh Groban and Kennedy are all reportedly fans of the dating network, according to the Hollywood Reporter.)

Rad revealed the news at South by Southwest in Austin, Texas, although he did not say how Tinder would verify their identities, or how users would know that someone had been verified.

NBC News reached out to Tinder for comment, but the company did not respond.

It's not totally crazy that celebrities would use Tinder. Famous Olympians were reportedly using it to hook up at the Winter Olympics in Sochi.
