Cars driven by humans could be outlawed once it's proven that self-driving autos are safer, Elon Musk says. The founder of electric-car company Tesla told an audience at NVIDIA's GPU Technology Conference in San Jose, California, on Tuesday that as autonomous cars become commonplace and establish a superior safety record, people won't be trusted behind the wheel anymore. "In the distant future, (legislators) may outlaw driven cars because they're too dangerous," Musk said.
