Everything is bigger in Texas ... even the sharks. A 14-foot great white shark is making its way through the Gulf of Mexico and is on its way to the Texas coast. Her name is Katharine, and she was originally tagged with another 13-foot great white named Emily by Ocearch, a non-profit research organization, near the coast of Cape Cod last August. When a satellite picked up Katharine's signal earlier this week, she was about 100 miles southwest of the Florida coast and was swimming towards the Lone Star State. Concerned Texans — or tourists looking for a thrill to go along with their barbecued beef ribs — can track Katharine and other great whites through Ocearch's website.
