The latest Skype for Mac update provides users not only with a full screen experience in OS X Lion, but also the ability to delete old chats and messages within a conversation.
Download Skype for Mac 5.6, released Tuesday (March 6), and you'll also never have to deal with downloading future upgrades again, as this version incorporates those automatically. This release also allows those who are in group video chats to see who's speaking front and center, with a dynamic mode that puts that person at the top of the screen.
But it's the full screen experience that will probably please many Skypers, who will no longer have to deal with distractions from the dock and menu bars.
Fixes in 5.6 include clearing up some choppy audio during group calls and making the call toolbar reappear after a call ends.
