The Om/One is the Criss Angel of Bluetooth speakers, levitating for attention. Is it witchcraft? Sadly, no. Instead, the Om/One orb floats above a magnetic base, spinning around while unholy tunes are summoned from its 75-millimeter audio driver. It's also equipped with a built-in microphone for futuristic conference calls.

"The first time I saw the prototype, I was astonished like anyone else, because there is something levitating above the surface," David DeVillez, co-founder and CEO of the manufacturer, Om Audio, said in a video. "That doesn't happen in nature."

The cost of this sin against nature: $179 for pre-orders. That puts it in the same price range as competitors from Jambox and Logitech. Those speakers, of course, don't float in the air like magic, giving Om a leg up with the coveted "Whoa, that's trippy!" demographic.
