Happy news for Apple fans across the world: The iPhone 4S will become available in China, as well as 21 other countries, on Jan. 13.
According to Apple, on this particular Jan. 13 — which I should note, for the sake of the superstitious folks in the bunch, is a Friday — the iPhone 4S will also be available in Anguilla, Antigua and Barbuda, Bolivia, Botswana, British Virgin Islands, Cameroon, Cayman Islands, Central African Republic, China, Dominica, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Grenada, Guam, Guinea Conakry, Ivory Coast, Jamaica, Kenya, Madagascar, Mali, Mauritius, Niger, Senegal, St. Vincent and The Grenadines, Trinidad and Tobago, Turks and Caicos and Uganda.
For those keeping track, this means that the popular mobile device will be available in over 90 countries at that time. According to Apple CEO Tim Cook, that will make the iPhone 4S rollout the "fastest iPhone rollout ever."
