The glacial progression of the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich updates continues with the HTC Sensation and the Sensation XE, with many more to come in the hopefully not-so-distant future.
HTC blogged its update for its consumers eagerly awaiting that delicious confection dangled by Google last year that seems, oh, so far away now.
After rolling out on the Sensation and Sensation XE within the next couple of weeks, the HTC Sensation 4G and HTC Sensation XL will follow (no date specified). HTC also confirmed that Ice Cream Sandwich will also eventually make it onto the following devices:
- DROID Incredible 2 by HTC
- HTC Amaze 4G
- HTC Desire S
- HTC Desire HD
- HTC EVO 3D
- HTC EVO Design 4G
- HTC Incredible S
- HTC Sensation
- HTC Sensation XL
- HTC Sensation 4G
- HTC Sensation XE
- HTC Raider
- HTC Rezound
- HTC Rhyme
- HTC Thunderbolt
- HTC Vivid
T-Mobile HTC customers who snap up the new HTC One S in April will also be able to enjoy Android 4.0 , as well as those who own Sony tablets and smartphones . Motorola phone owners, on the other hand, are out of luck until this summer, when the Atrix and Photon receive the update .
