This PlayStation 4, made with 226 grams of 9-carat gold, costs a cool $13,800. "It's for someone who wants something exclusive," Marco Gatti, export manager at Gatti Luxury Lab in Italy, told NBC News. "We sold our first one immediately." It was made in a workshop in the Italian city of San Benedetto del Tronto, on the Adriatic Sea, where Gatti and his two brothers (both goldsmiths) put together blinged-out versions of popular gadgets. They also make a gold Xbox One and are working on a design for the new iPhone 6.
"Some companies sell gold-plated consoles," he said. "This is not our thing. We sell solid gold consoles." In case you were wondering, yes, the gold PlayStation 4 and Xbox One can actually be used to play video games.
