Awair is a gadget that breathes the air you breathe and gives you constant reports and suggestions based on what it detects. And because it's clued in to the "Internet of Things," it can even issue commands to other smart electronics, meaning you won't even have to flip the switch on that humidifier or fan — it'll start on its own.
Air quality monitors exist already, of course, but few are as handsome as this, or as well connected. The companion smartphone app is clean-looking and straightforward, giving you regular feedback and graphs that show various measurements throughout the day, along with actionable advice ("The level of CO2 usually peaks at around 4PM. How about letting in some fresh air during this time?").
The Awair costs $200 (or $150 if you pre-order), which is well in line with similar gadgets. Expect it to be delivered in early fall.
