SIMFEROPOL, Ukraine - Workers removed a sign at the entrance of the Crimean Parliament on Tuesday, not long after Crimean leaders endorsed a draft treaty with President Vladimir Putin that would make the region part of Russia.

The removed sign had read "The High Council of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea."
